This gorgeous dress was purchased new and worn once, for the ceremony and dinner part of the reception only. It is a classic, elegant gown, subtly enhanced by delicate beading and white sequins scattered throughout a lace overlay. It is mermaid-cut and strapless, with cups sewn in to the bodice allowing it to be worn without a special bra. A bustle has also been added, which lifts the short train out of the way during the reception to allow for ease of walking and dancing. (I chose to change in to a short dress for the dancing, but would have been able to leave this one on and been quite comfortable). My favorite thing about the dress, apart from how luxurious it made me feel to wear it, was that it had presence without overwhelming me. I wore the dress, it didn't wear me! It is perfect for a bride with a smaller frame. Accessorize with a coloured sash or beaded belt or wear it unadorned for simple, classic style. Included in the sale price is the shaped crinoline worn under the dress to give the skirt and train volume, as well as a preservation box (which has a $100 value). I wore this dress on one of the best days of my life, and I felt like the most beautiful person on earth in it. I would love for another bride to have the same feeling and experience!
